Summary
This role with Business Travel Sales team involves the acquisition of new corporate travel accounts in the Middle market.
Responsibilities
- To secure profitable new travel accounts and achieve aggressive sales targets
- Leading the preparation of proposals and tendering for business as required.
- Pro-actively source competitor accounts and develop strong customer relationships
- Develop strong relationships with key business partners
- Seek new sales avenues and conduct cold calls
- Maintain customer records through a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
- Liaise with operation to deliver a professional customer experience
Requirements / Competencies
- Excellent customer and interpersonal skills
- Excellent in presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to work without supervision, but with high levels of communication within the travel and sales teams
- Strong knowledge of Travel services & products highly regarded but not essential
- Well developed communication and organisational skills
- Proven history in business to business sales
- Acts ethically and honestly in all business practises
- Highly motivated and results driven
- Excellent knowledge of PC based systems
